The number of gambling addicts struggling with betting on mobile phones and tablets has risen, reported news.

The National Problem Gambling Clinic said the 24% of its patients struggled with mobile gambling in 2012 and 2013, this rose to 63% in 2016 and 2017.

Total of 778 gambling addicts were referred to the NHS clinic from 2016- up to now.

 

There is a report that software companies working on apps to block gambling sites from the phones of problem gamblers.
