Intel start shipping a groundbreaking modem that will deliver data transfer rates faster than most wired internet connections.

The chipmaker will ship its first G5 modem for testing in the second half this year. The modem beyond mobile devices could be used in autonomous cars, servers, networking equipment, drones, robots and the internet –of –thing devices too.  Where G4 being used in today’s mobiles devices, but G5 is significantly faster and more different functions.   It will combine multiple wireless high speed and low-bandwidth technologies.

Intel G5 Modem is designed to provide download speeds more than 5Gbps, which is five times faster than G4 modem. Also five times faster than today’s Google Fiber, which offers speed of up to 1Gbps. This product is not going to be installed immediately in smartphones. But 5G will be used mainly for testing on network equipment’s. This technology will improve mobile health-care services, which need reliable connections for patient monitoring and will help IoT devices remain in constant contact with servers running analytics.

LED Lights and Concerns
Researchers prove that a hard drive‘s LED light can be used to leak and capture your data without being acknowledged.

According to U.S. Correspondent, IDG News /Service
The blinking lights on severs and desktop PCs may that looks nothing but small light may give away your important information if a hacker can hijack them with a malware (especial software that will damage or disable computers).

Researchers in Israel found a new method of hacking that turns a computer’s LED light into a system action that shows passwords and other sensitive data. More LED light hijacking options that never crosses anyone’s mind like from an optical zoom lens, or from a security camera inside the building or flying a drone to spy through the window at night.  Great as technology advances we face more problems ever, so what is the solution.  No worries it is easy and simple: you could prevent this from happing by covering camera or light on computer or any device with LED lights.

What is Verizon upcoming plan?
Verizon announces that will launch pre-commercial 5G services in 11 markets around the U.S. by middle of this year, and AT&T will be competing by joining the upcoming technology.   Verizon planned it’s trial for selected users in a few cities such Atlanta, Denver, Miami, and Seattle and will use fixed wireless equipment for home broadband instead of mobile networks for roving devices. According to Carriers Still in a testing stage and they will need for future high-speed mobile broadband. The full specification for 5G may be finished at least a year later.
