The new Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a glass casing instead of the aluminum case used in previous models.

Mate 10 Pro rocks a new curved Gorilla Glass casing that puts it is league with other smartphones in this class. This is a huge change from the previous Mate 10 which used Aluminum casing. It would have been nice if Huawei installed wireless charging with the glass backing.  Maybe this is a sign of things to come.

In addition to having Gorilla Glass on both sides, the Mate 10 Pro also has the protection of IP67 from water resistance.

This smartphone also has a brilliant OLED display which features HDR10 support providing beautiful array of colors. Mate 10 Pro looks similar to the Mate 10, but it comes with a 5.9-inch LED 1,440 x 2,560 screen, while the Huawei Mate 10 Pro sports a 6.0-inch OLED 1,080 x 2,160.

Power for the Mate 10 Pro comes by way of the Kirin 970 octa-core processor.  You can get RAM and storage configurations of 4GB and 64GB or 6GB and 128GB respectively. Sadly,  Mate 10 Pro doesn’t have a microSD card slot, which the standard Mate 10 does.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro comes with Emotion UI, Huawei’s rather intrusive Android skin. It features Android 8 Oreo, which is the most recent version of Google's mobile operating system.

This handheld is available in four color options (Mocha Brown, Midnight Blue, Titanium Gray and Pink Gold).

When the power is depleted, you can benefit from Huawei’s proprietary SuperCharge technology. SuperCharge will give you 50-percent power from a half an hour of charging.
