Google announced a new feature on Google Drive that users could access the files saved on Google Drive easier than before.

The company introduced its Drive File Stream in March for limited users, which now the Google Drive File Stream rolled out for all users.  This new feature will replace the Google Drive folder that was used by majority of the users in the past.

The G.D.S won’t take the space on the hard disk like Google Drive did.” Drive File Stream is a new desktop application that allows to access quickly to all of your Google Drive Files on demand directly from your computer, meaning you use almost none of your hard drive space and spend less time waiting for files to sync,” Says the G Suite blog post. 



The Drive Stream is available for “G Suite” users.  The G Suite is a cloud computing brand apps, productivity and collaboration tools, software and products developed by Google.

Starting December 11th the Google drive for Mac and PC will not be supported and this service will be shut down by March 12, 2018.

According the company by next month there will be out going messages in the product notifying the users that Drive for Mac/PC is going away.




At this point Google focuses is on its Android 8.0 Oreo. The company’s upcoming Pixel and the Pixel 2 devices are expected to come with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Not only the phone looks similar to its predecessor also while every other phone maker is killing the Bezel and moving to dual rear cameras, the Pixel 2 does not appear to feature either of these innovations, and sticks with last year’s design.  is rumored that the Pixel 2 will have front-facing stereo speakers and Edge Sense. The device release date was not mentioned.
