Audi’s all-electric supercar has come to the end of the road after a very short production run. The R8 e-tron was planned as a limited-volume model and according to car and Driver, Audi less made than 100 of these cars. Sales were restricted to Europe.

Audi’s first attempt at the R8 e-tron ended in it being canceled in May of 2013 due huge price, high weight, and limited driving range. It was in March of 2014 that Audi decided to take another look at the electric supercar.
When the Audi R8 e-tron was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva auto show, it seems ready to take the road. This time it featured a 92-kWh e-tron 2.0 battery which gave it a range of 279 miles with outputs of 456 hp and 679 lb-ft of torque. Car and Driver reported that the price tag for the Audi R8 e-ton was a whopping $1.1 million.
