Get ready to watch 4K and enjoy 4k HDR on the new Apple TV.

If you enjoy Apple TV, then you will love the fact that the new model Apple TV may be getting both 4K and HDR capability.

Rumor has it that a 4K Apple TV is in the works along with hints 4K HDR videos for iTunes. Apparently, developer Guilherme Rambo sorted through the HomePod firmware and notice references to both 4K and HDR support in an upcoming Apple TV model.

It was also uncovered that the code point to support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma formats resulting in HDR's enhanced picture quality even on TVs with limited compatibility. Consequently, the new Apple TV should support HDR no matter which TV or media services you use.
