Amazon is offering a discount for people on governed benefits to get access for Amazon Prime. This discount is for people with legitimate Electronic benefit transfer card.

Amazon is creating new prime membership discount for low-income shoppers. The discount Amazon is offering is based on a monthly Prime membership for people that obtain government assistance. People that have a legitimate Electronic Benefit Transfer card, that is used for the following programs such as, Food Stamps, or Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program, will pay $5.99 monthly for Amazon Prime benefits including unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows and free shipping.

The regular Amazon Prime membership yearly is $99, however foe people who cannot provide the fee have an option to pay $10.99 monthly. According to Amazon Vice president Greg Greeley, Amazon created this choice to make its Selections and saving more accessible, with inclusion of several conveniences and entertainment benefits of Amazon Prime.
